We welcome you to PICH TECHNOLOGIES and would like to provide you with all the information you must have before you start using our services. We have therefore drawn up these Terms of Service.

1. General information.

These terms of service (the “Terms of Service”) regulate access to and use of the website housed at www.pichtechnologies.com (the “Website”) and at any subdomain or web page under the same, and the contents and services that the Website owner makes available to its users and, together with the Cookie Policy, make up the terms and conditions by which the Website is governed.

Pursuant to article 10 of Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act 34/2002, 11th July, the following are the Website owner’s identification details:

PICH PAYMENT SOLUTIONS, S.L. (“PICH TECHNOLOGIES”) is a company with registered office at Calle Quintana, number 4, 3A, Post Code 28008, Madrid, and email: contact@pichtechnologies.com. PICH TECHNOLOGIES is duly entered in the Companies Register of Madrid, at Volume 30,818, Folio 20, Sheet number M-554636 and has Tax Identification Number B-86654175.

User access to or use of the Website necessarily and unreservedly implies knowledge and acceptance of these Terms of Service, which we therefore recommend that you read carefully.

2. What you need to know about Pich Technologies.

PICH TECHNOLOGIES has developed a platform (the “API” or the “Platform”) at the Website which connects financial services entities (the “Financial Entities”), firms in general (the “Firms”) and firms that develop or have developed applications that access financial services (the “Internet Service Provider”).

The Financial Entities, the Firms and the Internet Service Providers will hereinafter be collectively referred to as “Users”. Users must duly register as set out in paragraph 3.

Users of PICH TECHNOLOGIES must in any event be legal entities.

The Financial Entities that are Platform members can be checked at the Website.

Notwithstanding the above, PICH TECHNOLOGIES will inform Users of any change to the list of member Financial Entities.

PICH TECHNOLOGIES will under no circumstances have access to the data because it uses advanced encryption systems which allow Firms and end users of the applications developed by the Internet Service Providers to be the only ones to view the financial data.

We are not financial intermediaries, and we do not offer advice; we only offer the tools that allow and make access to financial information easier. We therefore accept no liability in connection with the use, quality and accuracy of your data.

3. User registration.

Before they start using the services offered by PICH TECHNOLOGIES, users must register through the Website and in order to do so they must follow the instructions given at the same and provide the required information (the “Registration Form”).

Once the Registration Form has been completed, you will receive an email at the address you have provided on the form, in order to activate your User account.

As a User, it will be your responsibility alone to pick a password that provides an adequate degree of security. In that regard, PICH TECHNOLOGIES would advise you not to pick passwords using obvious combinations that are easy to figure out by a third party. It will be your responsibility to keep your password safe and secret, and not to disclose it to any third party. If you suspect that your password has become known to any third party, you must immediately change it.

4. Services provided by Pich Technologies.

PICH TECHNOLOGIES provides its Users with a Platform through which it supplies services to Firms and services to Internet Service Providers as defined below (the “Services”):

Services for Firms

If you are a Firm, you will be able to manage your financial activity information using this service, and integrate your financial transactions with the rest of your organisation. PICH TECHNOLOGIES provides you with a number of tools to help you manage all financial information relating to your firm’s movements and positions with its financial entities.

The Service for Firms allows direct, real-time access to all your firm’s financial transactions.

PICH TECHNOLOGIES will at no time have access to the Firm’s financial data since that data shall be encrypted. Only the User will have access to the financial data.

As a User you may add and categorise your different Partner Financial Entities’ financial data from your platform.

4.1.1. Service for Firms Functions

  • Integrating business systems (ERP, CRM…) with the Pich API
  • Cash Management
  • Complete visibility of the firm’s financial activity
  • Service for Internet Service Providers

As an Internet Service Provider this service will allow you to integrate the technology provided by PICH TECHNOLOGIES when you develop your applications. Your end users will thus be able to access their financial data from your application or website.

PICH TECHNOLOGIES only offers an improvement on service functionalities offered by Internet Service Providers to third parties without howsoever becoming related to the Internet Service Providers’ end user.

In order to offer our Users a quality service, we provide you with the following tools to assist you in the process to integrate our services:

  • Documentation and practical examples: We offer detailed guidelines as to how to integrate and use the PICH TECHNOLOGIES API. This documentation has been designed using plain language and is full of examples of applications already in existence.
  • Control Panel: You may use this tool to monitor the services used at the PICH TECHNOLOGIES API, that is to say, webhook management, account access management, and API Keys management for the selected applications.
  • Sandbox Environment: You may try out the code before it is put into production. This allows new services to be tried and tested before they are put into production.
  • Developers forums: So that you can share your experience with other users.

In any case, PICH TECHNOLOGIES will ensure that it assists each User individually in the integration process.

4.2.1. Your security obligations

PICH TECHNOLOGIES does not guarantee the security of the applications developed by the Internet Service Providers. In that regard, PICH TECHNOLOGIES reserves the right to cancel the services if it suspects that those applications pose a security and privacy risk.

4.2.2. Liability of Internet Service Providers

Our Service is designed so that end users can connect to the PICH TECHNOLOGIES Services through applications developed by the Internet Service Providers.

Accordingly, PICH TECHNOLOGIES shall not take on the risk of the activity carried out by developers and internet service providers and of the use made by end users of our Services. In any case, PICH TECHNOLOGIES shall not be liable for disputes, if any, arising with end users.

5. Security protocols and standards.

At PICH TECHNOLOGIES we are aware of how important and sensitive all financial and banking information we offer Users is. Our security policy is therefore based on three key elements:

Stateless Transactions: Many authentication methods are considered stateless, but many of these methods have a small “state” and at PICH TECHNOLOGIES we use the so- called “token storage”. Because of this authentication method, PICH TECHNOLOGIES neither stores nor has access to User information at any time, thereby preventing third parties from viewing any such data. PICH TECHNOLOGIES assigns an ID and an API security key to end users of the data so that they may encrypt and decrypt the data flowing within our API, which not even PICH TECHNOLOGIES can have access to.

Custom authentication: Each of the Partner Financial Entities use their own different methods to authenticate their users.

Data separation and processing: This means that the various Partner Financial Entities’ financial and banking data are independently dealt with and processed, for each Partner Financial Entity has its own security measures in place.

6. Consideration for the service.

The financial terms for supplying the Services shall be set down in the Users’ specific terms, which shall be emailed to the Users Specify price before confirming acceptance.

7. Confidentiality..

At PICH TECHNOLOGIES we are aware of how sensitive Users’ banking or any other information is. Accordingly, all the information we obtain from Users will be deemed to be confidential information (the “Confidential Information”). Consequently, PICH TECHNOLOGIES will not disclose to third parties and will not use that information for purposes other than as required for the provision of the Services, without the Users’ prior consent, other than where the Confidential Information must be disclosed by Law or under a court or administrative order.

However, at PICH TECHNOLOGIES we would like to inform all our Users that all of the aforementioned financial and banking data or information is encrypted observing the security protocols referred to in paragraph 5.

You may terminate or suspend access to our Services, or part of them immediately at any time. If you wish to stop using our Services, you may do so sending a notice to the following email address: support@pichtechnologies.com

  • Stealing a User’s identity
  • Accessing the Services for the pursuit of illegal purposes
